Having the right equipment to perform an AAMA 501.2 test or the ASTM 502, E1105 or one of the many other required water infiltration tests is not just a good idea, its essential. However, the equipment for these water tests doesn’t come cheap. For many who perform a couple of tests a year, owning a spray rack or 501.2 spray wand doesn’t make much sense. After all, this equipment must be calibrated for use on a regular basis.

AAMA 501.2 Spray Wand Water Testing Equipment Rental

The 501.2 spray wand is used to perform the AAMA 501.2 water infiltration test for storefront systems. The spray wand used for Water Testing Equipment Rental isn’t, however, suggested to be used for operable doors or windows.  Homemade wands may be functional for internal purposes only, but not for any official and traceable testing that is specified and no will not suffice without a calibrated pressure gauge and the correct wand spray nozzle.

The use of the wand adheres to the AAMA 501.2 standard when applied correctly. Likewise, operators using the wand are suggested to be familiar with the standard. If not, we suggest purchasing a copy of the standard here.  Our spray wand will arrive in a padded pouch for travel safety. Certainly, we can ship to your home, office or job site. The 501.2 spray wand will arrive ready to use with a certificate of calibration.
