Los Angeles Infrared Thermography
Water Intrusion and Thermography here in Los Angeles goes hand in hand with water intrusion testing. There are times when destructive testing just isn’t the most convenient method in ruling out water intrusion or leaks. Enter thermography.
In a word, simplistic. That describes the use of Thermography when sourcing water intrusion issues, at least for us. In other words, Thermography gives us the unique opportunity to more or less see into walls almost like an x-ray would. Because if this, there are many times when this is just enough to determine the moisture origination source or at least narrow it down for service.

Water Intrusion and Thermography here in Los AngelesFor those water intrusion companies who choose not to use Thermography are essentially missing the big picture. In my opinion, having performed water intrusion testing for over 25 years, that the use of Infrared technology in the field reduces our time looking for the water source exponentially. If not for the use of Thermography, there’s one thing for sure… they’d be a lot more holes in walls. Water Intrusion and Thermography here in Los Angeles are in our opinion, inseparable.
Los Angeles doesn’t see a great deal of rain annually. That said, however, when it rains it really pours. The wake of destruction the Los Angeles rains leave behind keep our company, Mazza Testing Co. busy until the next rains. More often than not, the work load related to these rains is primarily residential, which often means destructive testing isn’t an option.
Thermography is just a toolAn infrared camera is just a tool. Like our moisture meters or even our spray rack, still, it’s just a tool. The operator or the person behind the camera makes all the difference in the world.
Meaning, the operator who understands both the Thermographic side as well as the water intrusion side is the best combination. We’re level III thermography technicians here in Los Angeles. Why is this important? Well, as mentioned, we understand the science behind the use of such equipment. Its not merely a camera that takes pretty pictures. Water Intrusion and Thermography here in Los Angeles are a must. Make sure the person you hire is at least a LEVEL III operator, like MAZZA.
